Welcome to First Friday Salinas!

Every first Friday of the month, the heart of Downtown Salinas comes alive with creativity, culture, and community. Local galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, and businesses open their doors to showcase the incredible talent of artists, musicians, and makers from across the region.

Stroll through Main Street and beyond to discover vibrant art exhibits, live performances, and interactive experiences. Whether you’re here to support local artists, enjoy live music, or simply connect with friends and neighbors, First Friday is your chance to see downtown in a whole new light.

Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to celebrate the best of Salinas’ art, culture, and community.

Confirmed Locations

100’s Block:

One Main Street Stage performances will be the Boronda Dias Tonatitos (IG) 5-6pm, the emcee will be Anything for Salinas podcast from Salinas Underground Podcast
XL Public House – DDLM Night + La Gabz art exhibit, Artist La Gabz will be doing live painting in front 5-7, Eliana’s Face Painting, music from The Essence, Food by Ivan’s Baked Potatoes
La Gran Diabla
Apotheca – will be open later (7pm) on FFS and have a musician at the front

200’s Block:

Brewjee closes at 8pm
Beerded Bean – FF Open Mic starts at 7:30-10:45
201 Main has a band The Edge booked that will play from 6-9pm X
Salinas Valley Art Gallery – Submitted their FFS programming
Downtown Book & Sound – ArtWalk & Dan Beck Band
Aquablue will be open up to 8pm- Aerial Violinist Razzvio in between them and the arch
Alliance on Aging – 5-8pm, Will have a senior art show every FFS

Artists ink – Open Studio w/ Artist Ms. Nada, 5pm to 7pm – Open Studio with Ms. Nada is a creative space where young artists can explore new techniques through guided activities or work on their own projects with full access to studio materials. From jewelry and mosaics to zines and digital art, it’s a supportive community where creativity, self-expression, and friendship thrive.
